One of the many reasons being an American is amazing: An awe-inspiring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner by Jim Cornelison on the 10th anniversary of 9-11. This took place as the Bears hosted the Falcons on the NFL's opening season.

All rights reserved by Fox Sports and the National Football League.

All prayers and praise to those in NY, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and around the nation that have been touched by the events of 9-11.

    And Jim Cornelison sings the anthem at every Blackhawks home game. Every anthem, the crowd erupts in cheers throughout the song. As John said, started in the 80's.

    The anthem at the Hawks game is the best in all of sports.
