Great video once again my friend.

Thanks Chris, yes the lack of sunlight does have certain benefits. In the end we have to take what we get on the day and try and make the best of it.

Great filming and locations Austin. I don't think the lack of sun detracts one iota - just leaves you with good natural light and, somehow, a softer image with no harsh contrasts. To my mind it allows the shaded areas (like the motion) to be more easily visible. Great to see (and hear) the Duke in good form too. Chris

Cheers John, trust me to visit on the cloudy day though, the Snday was sunny!

Great video once again my friend. That little 4-4-0 at the end is sweet! And the whistle on the 71000 has a nice sound to it; it's a shame they all don't sound that way!

Ha ha, I know you love your whistles. They seem to have changed the tone on 71000 since the 1990's, its shriller than it used to be. The 4-4-0 is based in Scotland, powerful little engines

Welcome to cloudy Loughborough Austin. We do have occasional sunshine, but generally only in leap years! We nearly bumped into each other a few times by the looks of your footage!
Nicely filmed as usual with some excellent camerawork, but next time you should get yourself a lineside pass to take full advantage of all the locations - loads of run pasts for your money as you must now realise! You need a Friends membership to acquire one.

Thanks very much Mike, I couldn't believe what a gloomy day that was, thankfully enlivened by the numerous trains. I am currently in the process of applying for membership and a lineside pass so by the next event will be able to venture to some better spots. If it's horrible grey weather for the Winter Gala you will know who to blame!
