Austin...I am touched by the sincerity in your message to all of us employees and the company we once worked for. This is a similar reaction to the one that my son had when I told him that his mom would be losing her job at borders because they were closing. We spent 15 minutes crying together in the car and talking about what we would do to help mom out in the days, weeks, months, and maybe years to come. I thank you for your touching words austin.

Sending a HUG your way, Austin. I worked for the White Flint Mall Borders in Maryland for 12 year's and am very touched by your video. As another person said, don't forget the library! It'll be O.K. and you'll be just great! Keep enjoying those books and toys. YAY!!!

Thank you, Austin... your honesty is so touching. I've watched you cry in this video now 4 times, and it breaks my heart each time. I worked at Borders for 6 years, so I'm sad right there with you, Buddy. You sure did get some cool stuff though. I hope you always love books and toys as much as you do now.

I worked at store 498 in DeKalb IL and 464 in Lees Summit MO. Borders was my 2nd home for the better part of 5 years. It makes me sad to know that Borders is becoming nothing more than a memory.
