Thanks so much for posting this. I love the "already in progress" message. This is when GL was really, really popular. Everyone loved Lujack (myself included.) I was 9 at this age and used to play sick sometimes so I could stay home and watch GL, because my mom was always screwing up the VCR. LOL!
Poor Ed and Mike! Of course they'd be worried about their mom. Mike, fearful that something might happen to Bert and he wouldn't get to talk to her and comfort her. Ed, angry at himself that he didn't realize it was a blood clot and not a pulled muscle when he's a doctor, and tearing out of Bert's room in search of answers. And Maureen reading the 23rd Psalm that Bert had marked in her Bible was just so powerful!
OMG...LOL... I cant believe you said that because I used to play sick for Lujack/Tony and Annabelle also. Guiding light was so good back then.
