Fr. Sean Duggan, Fr. Brian Nolan and Fr. Tony Rice are guests on the Late Late Show with presenter Ryan Tubridy. The following blurb was written on the RTE 1 Late Late Show website:
"Given the seemingly never ending scandals surrounding the Catholic Church in recent times, you would wonder just exactly who would volunteer to be a priest these days. One was a banker, one was in Electronics while the other was a corporate lawyer but they gave it all up to become men of the cloth."

With tough and relentless questions the three newly ordained priests coped well and certainly showed the Redemptorists Vocational Training in a good light.

  • A shocking indictment of the modernism infecting the Catholic Church. The future of the Church most certainly does not rest with the cluelessness evident in these three individuals but in a return to the traditions of the Church.

  • Priests in street clothes on the Late Show? That speaks for itself.

  • I found Turbidys questions not to be mean but to be very very simple questions that were easy to answer. The only problem is the priests themselves did not answer correctly which is further evidence that modernistic heresy in the Church is rife and at an all time high and it's very embarrassing to watch. If anything it showed this nation the serious trouble the Irish Church is in today ( and as a universal whole ). I pray for these priests and for the Church. <3

  • Here is the deal, there is no record that the Church wether it's Catholic or the Easter Orthodox, the two oldest bodies of Christianity, have ever allowed their priest to marry. Now both bodies have allowed married men to become priest and that is the law or discipline that can change through the Pope's approval. I wonder why spend all those years and becoming a priest only to disagree with much of your church teaching? Am I the only person who respect the Church rules? I am not Catholic BTW

  • @andrewandroisin they did very well.,their newly ordained. I think there questions should have been picked a better."and by the way its not going to get any easier" what a creep Tubridy is

  • The three young priests responded very well under the circumstances as the "tide" was against them.

  • Ryan Tubridy is so rude. Askes a questions and hurrys the answer. He is so mean to those priests. Why pick those those questions to attack 3 lovely young priests starting out in their vocation. Its not fair. Hes a dreadful interviewer, he attacks people with questions not questioning him properally at all.

  • He's so myopic. Why doesn't Turbidy see a bigger picture? Not too bright me thinks...
