@snakes3425 If Laurie saw Loomis burning instead of Micheal, then how did Loomis appear very healthy and alive in Halloween 6: Curse of Micheal Myers, the one where he is controlled by the cult?

This wasn't intended to be a Michael Myers film, it was ment to be a reboot and start a whole new series, had it just been Season of the Witch, there wouldn't have been a problem but instead the studio tacked on Halloween III in hopes of cashing in on Halloween's popularity

4-6's say that he was resurected by and controled since the 1st movie by a satanic cult. 7 and 8 threw that out and hint that he's been in hiding since the hospital incident in the second movie, so you can argue that he switched places with Loomis before he set the fire in Part II, and it was Loomis, not Michael who Laurie saw burning
