Manuel Gottsching plays E2-E4 live in Japan

Released back in '84, the 60 minute track "E2-E4" by the Lord Manuel still remains impressive. On Aug. 27th 2006, Manuel played solo live exclusively to the Japanese audience at this festival called "Metamorphose".
This is only 1 min footage taken by a mobile phone. Someone else may have shot longer one, I hope.

it sounds a bit unfair to state manuel would need to use playback on his shows. The guitar part is yet to come on this long and extraordinary piece. And...the music sounds totally different from the studio album, if you really know it well. I'd dare saying there are only a few percussive lines that are pre-recorded. Go see Jarre and try to guess what is really live ! :)
