Skimming the treetops in your helicopter, Wagner's "Ride of the Valkyries" blasts through its loudspeakers. Down in the jungles and rice fields below, the enemy is waiting for a chance to take you down with their T54 tanks and RPG launchers. Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 just made the journey to a new place and time -- back to the 60's and the infamous Vietnam War.
Battlefield: Bad Company™ 2 Vietnam is a content-heavy expansion for the game that has sold more than 5 million copies and has been called "a better game than Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2" by The New York Times.
At the heart of this expansion lie four distinct, brand-new multiplayer maps based on the Vietnam War. Each map brings a new gameplay experience and fresh visuals, with characteristics such as foxholes, tunnels and dense jungles from where the enemy can launch surprise attacks. Also, 15 classic Vietnam-era weapons and 6 vehicles are available from the moment you go online.
All four multiplayer game modes from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, including the genre-defining Conquest Mode, will be playable in Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam. The expansion is integrated with the full game persistence, so no matter what theatre of war you participate in, you will continue to level up your soldier as usual.
To set that unmistakable 60's atmosphere, the audio team at DICE has recorded all-new voice-overs for both sides of the conflict, based on authentic dialogue from the Vietnam War. On top of this, a rocking soundtrack with 2 hours worth of time typical tracks gives the expansion a truly characteristic sound.
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is all-out multiplayer warfare at its absolute finest. With this new expansion, the battle moves to tropical Vietnam for a new chance to settle the score: Which team has the biggest skills, the smartest tactics, and the tightest squad play?

5 Multiplayer Maps.
Phu Bai Valley, Hill 137, Vantage Point, Cao Son Temple, and Operation Hastings. All game modes from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (Conquest, Rush, Squad Deathmatch, and Squad Rush) are playable on all 5 maps.
15 Vietnam-era Weapons.
Everything is unlocked from the get go (this is also true for the launch version). One of our biggest new additions is the flame-thrower (see below). We have also made sure to give the weapons a rusty and tarnished look and feel..
60's Soundtrack.
2 hours of time-typical soundtrack on the radios in the American vehicles. Fly to the sound of Ride of the Valkyries, Fortunate Son, and more.
6 Vietnam War Vehicles.
Skim the treetops in the iconic American Huey helicopter. Drive the sturdy Russian T54 tank and the nimble US PBR "Pibber" patrol boat, plus three more vehicles immortalized in the Vietnam War.
New Voiceovers.
All-new voiceovers for both American and Vietnamese forces, based on authentic communication from the Vietnam War.
New Trophies/Achievements.

what about you talking? m14 can be selected to semi or auto :DDD iv fired with it irl. P.S. cod is all about killing in frenzy and getting streak, and bc2 is all about making tactics and wont be selfish and help to team ^^ i love it btw

m21 dont have full auto.

@JeretKings I dont believe it does, it has no reason to have it. M14 was a frontline Rifle, M21 was a conversion of it into a Sniper. They might have just removed the Automatic option entirely but I dont know for sure.

the thing is actualyu that as i sayed you can switch modes, and m14 always had this mode. maybe you were talking about m21 version?

@minvydaaas454 I know, I've never actually shot the gun before, but I just think it would have been cooler. The gun just doesn't look like it would be full auto.

its forclose quarterers. in lithuanian army, they give you m14 to learn to shoot. want to lower down recoil? get a muscle :)

@minvydaaas454 I wish they didn't even bother putting full auto on the M14. It ruins the coolness factor because in reality the M14's full auto mode was impossible to aim!!

this gun cant be semi automatic like old game vietnam? i prefer semi or game create a button to choose semi or automatic
