They call pass interference against broadway for a ball that was thrown extremely short and would prolly have been picked off

I watched this game. I'm an FSU fan, so I'm not really objective, but those refs were AWFUL. I couldn't believe UF escaped with that game because of them. I usually try to side with the refs because everyone makes mistakes, but in this game the "mistakes" were very one-sided.

You know what I think is funny is how so many people seem to know the rules better than the officials that had to completely read the rule books, complete a training program and take a test, which I'm pretty sure everyone else has not. Now I'm not saying that excuses anyone from stupidity but officials are human and they make mistakes. Some officials are bad I agree, I just think people don't try to understand how hard it can be to officiate and make a split second decision on any given play.

Wow, people are still upset over this game? As much as people love to blame the refs, Arkansas lost themselves the game. However, as for this being a call that "screwed" Arkansas, I disagree. This is a judgement call. The rule here is that the DB can ONLY contact the WR or impede his progress IF they are both playing and competing for the ball. When the DB first contacts the WR, it appears he has his back to the ball so my judgement would be, he's playing the WR which means FLAG.

Several of the referees were Florida alum and they were also banned from reffing for a whole two weeks or so which was more of a publicity stunt by the governing body to calm the masses about the cheating scare---by the way that was cheating. Just as the Italian Serie A team, Juventus, was relegated for match fixing, this Florida team should have been as well. Too bad SEC + ESPN were too busy suckin Tebows dick for money. Football was ruined for me that day, when cheating was accepted as norm.

That was Florida's homecoming, and at that point had Florida lost to Arkansas (which they would have had the ref's not been on Florida's side), then Florida's and Tebow's "perfect season" + heisman candidacy would have all been ruined. Combine this with the fact that Florida and Tebow are the SEC's poster team/child who earns ESPN + SEC millions, and profits would have been seriously hurt, given the extreme commercialization and marketing efforts by these two groups centered around Florida.
