Issues With Diablo 3: Itemization

For the record, I've played Diablo 3 for 80 hours now. I've slain Diablo on Inferno and I've assembled a survivability, DPS, and magic find set. I'm sure I'll find myself playing it for much longer: Diablo 3 is not a bad game.

I think blizzard to solve this problem needs to tone down the items a bit. Why make "poor quality gray items" if absolutly nobody will want to use them. I think they should make white items feel ok and magic items feel great and rare/uniques make you jump in your seat. In diablo 2 you could pick up an ok weapon and have a great time with it. Thats just my opinion. I dont believe in this random stat millions of worthless rares to sell to npc system.

It made it easier for Pete to speed level through Diablo 3 and thus ｍａｘ ｏｕｔ ｈｉｓ ｃｈａｒａｃｔｅｒ very quickly ｍａｋｉｎｇ  ａ ｌｏｔ ｏｆ ｇｏｌｄ ｏｎ ｔｈｅ ｗａｙ. I hope it works for you too...

Charms were removed because the damage skills inflict is dependent on DPS, rather than a specific skill's level.

Runes were removed because all they resulted in was people using the same runewords on the same equipment. Had they left runes in then the only difference would be people would be buying runes and items with enough sockets on the auction house, rather than items which has the same stats as runeword items.

Even in D2 higher level items were generally better than lower level ones.

what's even more sad is that when this kinds of stuff are being brought up, the so called "PRO" players will just label you as a whiner... Sometimes i wish the remaining uber players would be the one who will make a move on blizz for some changes.. especially the itemization... it is something that is faulty to it's core.. perhaps blizz just screwed up bigtime, but still has won because they got our money, and they simply won;t care anymore.
