Omg, My Lap Top does the exact same and it has got really bad! How Do You Fix it? As i dont really pay money for a company too look at it and do nothing...any advice will help.

Wow this is exactly what my laptop is doing and is driving me insane.. @shortcarlos can you share the service manual with me too? and also if you can give me some more pointer like tools used and stuff like that, I will really really appreciate it ..

Do a search for "chetbus", he did a video on how to fix it. I had the same problem, added a second cover for the video cable and now it is working like new. Hope this helps.

@justpLyyy just take out the battery and remove all the the screws under it and all of the other screws on the side of the laptop, then just pop off the top part where the power button is, at the top left should be a silver cable, just put some electrical tape around it and it should work fine

Hello, I am a tinkerer ... the problem is simple, the GPU is the video of the motherboard, you have to do a reflow or Reballing ... and everything is 100% system. hello

@francomongillo it was just a simple cable that needed replacing. the cable was rubbing against the hinge when i opened/closed the laptop

OH MY GOD!! THIS IS THE EXACT PROBLEM WITH MINE!!!! Did you figure out how to fix it?? ... I dont have the money to get it fixed. Apparently Acer SUCKS.

@itsmeganf the only wat i figured to fix it without paying is to take the top part off where the power button is. Under to the top left is a silver and black cable, just move it around a bit and you should see the screen come back. its held in place by the screws underneath the battery and a few screws on either side of the battery ..hope this helps !
