Entrepreneur Summit in Washington - Wrap Up

This report takes a look at the second day's activities of Presidential Summit on Entrepreneurship and how this conference will play a role in bringing together entrepreneurs from around the globe to expand their businesses. US Secretary of state Hillary Clinton announced the launch of a pilot program in Egypt and Indonesia called the Global Entrepreneurship Program along with a number of other initiatives. These were in addition to the Global technology and Innovation Fund of 2 billion dollars announced by President Obama on the first day of the summit. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with Urdu TV, Noble Laureate from Bangladesh Professor Mohammad Yunus expressed hope in the outcome of this conference in promoting social entrepreneurship among Muslim youth and said that countries like Pakistan need to focus more on social entrepreneurship where women and jobless young men have fewer resources available to start their small businesses.
