The Paleo diet is the ONLY diet. My allergies have all but vanished, my health improved, my energy increased, it even brought my hypoglycemia under control. Oh, and during the first year of eating strictly Paleo, I lost 60 pounds. . . without exercising. No effort, my body shed the pounds and one year later I have kept them off.

What about those poor plants? They are living and breathing. Happily reaching for the sun and exhaling oxygen. Enjoying the day in their peaceful little world, then BAMB somone comes along and cuts them up! :O EEEK. They are screaming out their little plant lungs, "help me they are putting me in a blender and cutting me into a million peices and because I am still alive...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh."
At least we kill the animals first before we eat them...

No its simple!!! You can get natural shampoos that dont have the Parabens and the laureth sulfates and all the other chemicals. Just get natural soap :) and crystal deodorant is sooo much better than the aluminum crap we put on our skin. I love that you're doing this!!! I would encourage you to go around and listen/ read peoples recovery stories on this diet. There aren''t many on youtube now, but there are enough... Rawbase8 here on youtube has a very interesting story.
Do the paleo diet if you want to fail epicly. It's nothing but a fad diet. Carbs are good for you. Just not the twinkies and pizza kinds of carbs. Go for fruits, veggies, whole grains. Get most of your calories from starch. Omit refined carbs, added sugar, and added oils. The weight drops effortlessly, believe me.
GO VEGAN!

@Jordonification Whole grains are not good for you. They are just less bad for you than white grains.

Ok..giggles aside Ineke210000. I eat 70% raw food (vegan raw not raw meat raw)plus the carabou I hunted last fall & the fish I caught this summer. I just get tired of vegans pushing beliefs. Yes I eat MOST of the time raw fruits and veggies, seeds & nuts. But at times I eat meat as well. Meat that indeed I did kill, cleaned and packaged. I know THAT meat isn't fed soy and corn and antibiotics and hormones. I know that I'm greatful to the spirit of that animal for feeding myself and my family. :)

@akwolfsong I love that you have a real relationship with your food, and think that having respect for the animal that gave its life is so wonderful, and something I wish more people did. I also am grateful of the plants that give of their lives as well, why not?

What a sad re-volution
True health and wisdom comes forth from compassion.
New times need new heroes!
Have the guts to go vegan!

@Ineke210000 I totally respect your desire to be vegan. For 15 years I was semi-vegetarian - I only ate, and rarely ate, chicken and fish. Unfortunately, I found that by not eating enough protein, I battled with depression, low energy, & obesity. Additionally, grains are really bad for you (just ask any gluten intolerant person), and tend to be key in a vegan diet. I wish I could be vegan & healthy. Instead, I make sure to buy humanely treated animals.
I wish you luck and health.
