Usually yes C would be faster. For a simple small program no. Basically modern c compilers such as GCC have an optimizer built in. When an assembly program is written by hand it is not necessarily written in the most optimal way.

Oh come on, get your hacker mindset turned on! Just purchase the (physical) book, scan in the image, vectorize the image (optional but preferable) , then use a custom shirt website or local printing shop to produce some clothing. It's not illegal so long as it's for yourself. And if you went for EPUB instead of physical, then just take a screenshot instead of scanning.

I think he means that full PC and console games are all made in C++, not mini games. How many MMORG have you seen that is programmed in something other than C/C++? NOT A LOT. Android games compared to iPhone lags more because it has to go through different layers. You also didn't know that they use NDK to enhance the speed of Android games. Why because Java is slow and buggy.

While it is true that C++ is used for "tripple A" Console/PC/Mac games a new "casual" market has emerged for games over the last decade where performance isn't always the #1 concern. I can list a few: For the web you can choose to write a flash game in AS3, or a HTML5 game in Javascript, or use Unity which is C#,Javascript or Python. For android you code games in Java, for iPhone you program objective C.. I think my point was his comment made him seem out of touch with the world as it is today

I stopped watching this when he said the only real programming language people are using for game development is C++. He should wake up and realize that it's not the 90's anymore :)
