Grilling salmon perfectly isn't easy. You must first catch some salmon, preferably from Alaska (fresh Alaskan salmon is the best, right?), then you must get ready to eat. Heat up the grill (really hot), spray lots of non-stick spray (lots, I said), then put the salmon on skin side up. Cook it that way for two minutes, flip it, slather the fish with sauce, cook it for five more minutes, then slide it off the grill (without the skin) onto your waiting plate and eat it up. Make sure you have lots of nice vegetables and don't make some nasty sauce. Olive oil and butter is a good sauce. Some spices will help too.

  • I did 2 minutes on the fish side, and then 8 minutes on the skin side - skin came off clean, but fish was still a little raw. :( I had my burners on low though - I'll leave them on Medium next time.

  • @titoortiz your grill has to be HOT . . . burners shouldn't be on low . . . mine are on HIGH.

  • DUDE I JUST USED UR VIDEO! TURNED OUT PERFECTLY! THANKS SOO MUCH!

  • @nuisance34 I searched my house for flammable substances, tested each one, then used the one that flamed the highest.

  • much safer to spray a paper towel with the no stick spray and then wipe it on the grill...helps avoid those flare ups

  • me so hungry

  • @mreae ok well im using a george foreman grill thats all i got!!! i dont have a gass grill or anything!! my steaks come out perfect on the foreman grill but my salmon always dries!!!!

  • @davidgalindo07 the trick is to time it until you get it right with your grill. If you're cooking it 7 minutes (like I say in the vid) and it's burning and coming out dry, then your grill is hotter than mine or your steaks are thinner. Try 6 minutes. But obviously you have to cook yours less. Better to have it a little undercooked than overcooked.
