The Doc. is the guy that owns it. He got a very good deal on it. I'll try and remember to get his call to you. It is an amazing thing to watch and use. They did real good this year.

Really impressive shortwave antenna tower!! I do miss North Carolina and Duke. Maybe I missed it, but how tall was that tower?

Wow that is quite a tower, is that strictly for ham users or can that kind of setup work for AM/FM radio and low power VHF/UHF analog television? How much would a tower, antenna and rotor setup like that run in general? I can just imagine how far a signal can travel with one of those.

Hey Gary,
You could configure the tower for many different bands by what you stack on top of the tower. Commercial AM would be a problem because the AM tower is hot and this tower is supported by the ground. But for anything you can stack on top will work great! Thanks.
