Paramaathmudu Velige by Dr. Balamuralikrishna

An awesome rendering of an amazing Thyagaraja kriti with great meaning conveyed by the great voice and pronunciation. It is one of the few popular ones by Sri Tyagaraja which is a more on the "nirguNa" side, if you will. To quote, P Sreenivasan from Vidyarthi website, "...at a very later stage of his life that he composed songs like "Paramathmudu velige" (Vagadeeshwari) in which he stresses the immanence and universality of God in everything, the animate and the inanimate, by whatever name we may choose to call Him. To stress this, he explains these further in the charana of the kriti. This kriti is well worth reading several times and understanding fully."

An artist being mad about somebody misspelling the title of his/her award would only be quite shallow of her. And sure like you said because of his magnanimity he should've agreed to perform. I'm sure he didn't even notice it. Humility - unlike the opinion propagated by - as Prince Rama Varma puts- the carnatic music mafia...

Looks like two different people prepared atleast two different people. While his name is spelt correctly his title is not... The rendition is so great that I didn't notice... sorry if the upload is not that good... I had some lag introducted when trying to edit the real media video

well, I don't have many videos. I'm only uploading the "outstanding" ones. This one, I edited a real media video with Real Producer. It has an initial lag (3 s) in the video, though the audio and video can in sync later on. But when I upload it got messed up. guess youtube does something

who is evasive, will not give any one to see HIM, but Sri MBK fullfilled that part for us.

That is why he respected, admired by one and all every where who ever hear him.

His music rendition will remain a shining Icon in the sky.
