This fixed all my problems. Thanks for sharing. 1920-1072 FTW
I uploaded a test clip made by this guide, the quality is as good as it should be before uploading it to youtube. Youtube however destroyers it into something horrible. Any idea what would cause it?

I am going to assume you didn't read the text on the YouTube video screen that says "Your video is still processing. Quality will improve when processing is complete!"

I just used your settings and uploaded a test video to this YouTube account, quality is beautiful. Only question i had, this is a 7 second clip just to see the quality, but the file size is 9 MB which seems kind of large. How big do your long videos (LK) or medium length videos (Sind) come out to be?

@eccel9 Lich King was close to a gig. It's not unusual for a video around 10 minutes to be at least 500mb, at high quality settings.
I recently made a ~9 minute video that was very low resolution (640x480) and it was less than 80mb, as a comparison :)

Important note: When you're in the pan/crop screen, there is a little button on the left (third from the bottom) which says "Lock Aspect Ratio". This button is independent from the option at the bottom with the Yes/No. Make sure that button on the left is not depressed - as in it isn't being used. This is essential for you to be able to crop your videos without resizing them.
