Commissioner Frank Avila talks with consumer Advocate Ralph Nader about his new book "The Seventeen Traditions" Ralph Nader has been called ... all » one of America's most effective social critics. He also has been called everything from Muckraker to Consumer Crusader to Public Defender. His documented criticism of government and industry has had widespread effect on public awareness and bureaucratic power. He is the "U.S.'s toughest customer" as Time magazine noted. His inspiration and example have galvanized a whole population of consumer advocates, citizen activists, and public interest lawyers who in turn have established their own organizations throughout the country.
an enjoyable and informative interview frank. your comment about learning from the past to build for the future is no understatement! its essential to understanding humanity. mr naders integrity is something unfortunately many people are lacking in todays society. the handshaking anecdote is amusing. gratifying to be informed of the book.
5 stars for a nice effort!
