Account Announcement & Scars of Mirrodin Pre-release Warning

Hey everyone, I'm gonna try to make a new account for my MTG videos. Also here is some warnings on the new infect mechanic for the pre-release.
Remember, we've had new mechanics before that affect the board and act as new paths and obstacles to winning the game overall. Winning the same way we've always known (life).
But Infect affects how we play the game and win it as well, so there will be quite a difference.

totally agree with what you said about not mixing them. i did that and most of the time i won by straight damage rather than poison, although i won a couple with poison. then again my pool included Argent Sphinx (4/3 flier for 4), Skithryx (4/4 infect flier), and ancient hellkite (5/5 flier), so it's kind of hard to skip out on those guys. my deck was obv U/B with about 2 reg creatures for every 1 infect, and it worked pretty well. lots of bounce and counters too along with black removal got 3rd

@pedrobehr yeah, and the reason yoru the exception is because YOU GOT A FICKEN NUTS PULL!! if i didnt get elspeth in my prize pack i would be so jealous of you now. (didnt get anythign but horde smelter dragon)

maybe you should see the 2007 PT San Diego they won because of Poison....the other side had to throw the game because it was lethal.

@SirCampbellSoup It def will, but it is also a fantastic mechanic to use defensively. Imagine they drop their 6/6 trampler or something, and you block with your infect 3/3....now they permanently have a 3/3...so much for that

Good Luck at your prerelease! The only card with poisin to win a lot of games is

Virulent Sliver who kicked a ton of ass in time spiral block limited and constructed. Can't wait to see how nuts infect will be.
