I wonder if there's, like, this hierarchy of toothpaste people. The ones we see are the higher class, they live in comfortable clean spaces, while the lower class lives in the tube and get squeezed out and sold in packages. Families of toothpaste people that need to watch their dad sacrifice his body so they can go on living in the slums of the tube while the upper class advertises in a merry dance to sell off his pasty bodily remains.
