TC is now 15 months old! He insists on walking, eating ... all by himself. The learning process could be quite bumpy or messy though.
Last month, he got a high fever and was treated in an emergency room at a local hospital. As it turned out, the veins in a small child were quite tiny that intraveneous injection on their hands or arms could be sometimes difficult. The nurse had to do it on one of TC's feet.
TC's mother was surely very worried by his illness. Actually in the summer season, infection caused by enterovirus could be serious in Taiwan and in fact in all Asia, especially for smaller children. Luckily, TC just had a cold throat and high fever, and he was soon recovered.
Always wash your hands thoroughly with soap when you return home, before eating/drinking, or handling children!
