Glasgow Rocks turned on the style with a handsome 111-59 home win over a depleted Worcester Wolves to move back into the play-off places.




Rocks new signing Michael Crowell was quickly into his stride as he sank three three-pointers and scored 12 of Glasgows first 17 points as they opened up a 21-5 lead. Gareth Murray drained another three on the buzzer to give the home team a 33-16 advantage after ten minutes.




Glasgow continued to dominate in the second quarter with the lead quickly ballooning to 31 (51-20) on Jessie Sapps layup. A 12-6 run completed a splendid half for Rocks as they took a 63-26 lead into the locker rooms.




A 17-0 start to the third quarter. Which was bookended by Rob Yanders threes, pushed the margin to beyond 50 (80-26). It took an Owen three as time expired in the period to reduce the gap slightly to 94-43 heading into the final stanza.




The lead remained around the 50 point mark in the fourth quarter with Mike Copelands final basket of the night rounding off a superb performance from Glasgow.
