So many "rabbis" today know only a small fraction of the Torah, and don't even really care, as long as they know more than the people who they can impress and get some money from. How many rabbis studied the whole mishnah? Learned all of the neveiim and ktuvim? So how can they teach Judaism and Torah if they don't know it? We are in deep doo-doo, at least that's how it looks from where I am.
