This video is a short how to on prepping your silk screen for printing. It assumes you've coated or purchased a pre-coated screen and picks up from there. If you'd like info on how to coat a screen let me know.

  • KGGREEN17 - Initially do to poor coating methods, not quite right exposure methods and low water pressure the toothbrush helped clear out emulsion that just wouldn't rinse clean. I've been meaning to update this video, cause your right a stronger bulb reduces the exposure time immensely and makes a more accurate burn and even more importantly coating the screen properly and smoothly makes a huge difference in how well it will expose and rinse out.

  • What is the purpose of the toothbrush when washing out the screen? I have a similar set up when exposing. I use a 500 w work light ($10 maybe from hardware store) and my exposure time is like 3-4 minutes.
