Today millions are living lonely, hopeless, miserable lives. They are aimlessly existing in this planet by turning to the temporary comfort provided by drugs, alcohol, sex etc., etc.,
People are asking where the world came from, how life began, why men are continually so miserable?
Unaided by some power outside of himself, man has never been able to find a satisfactory answer to these problems. But there is hope. Implanted in every human heart is a measure of faith, a desire to worship some higher power, a desire to seek after God. God indeed has the answers.
The following message is The Good News (GOSPEL) in a nutshell about God's Wonderful Plan To Save EVERY HUMAN On Planet Earth:
Please NOTE: This good news of salvation that God has provided is a FREE GIFT and this gift is NOT available for GOOD PEOPLE; it is ONLY for People with a MESSED UP LIVES (sinners). Many have been MISLED into thinking that they can SAVE THEMSELVES by their OWN GOOD WORKS. In a recent survey in three cities of America, the question was raised: Who goes to heaven and who goes to hell? The typical answer in every city: those who are good go to heaven and those who are bad go to hell. They are ALL sadly wrong in their world view.
God clearly teaches through the Bible that "by trying to be Good, NO ONE will be declared righteous to qualify for eternal life in heaven" This is because according to God's standard of Goodness / Holiness only a person who is 100% Good / Holy can qualify. In God's standard, even a person (so called Holy Saint) who might be 99.99999....% Good / Holy is a FAILURE (Sinner) and is DISQUALIFIED to enjoy the privileges of Eternal Life in Heaven. Only a 100% qualifies. Therefore NO human being can ever qualify to Heavenly Eternal Life. Then is there any hope for human beings? Then how does God Save every Human Being to qualify for Eternal Life in Heaven? To have a CLEAR PERCEPTION of God's saving gift we must start from the reference point of the First Human being God created. In the beginning God created Adam & Eve. When God created Adam and Eve, He told them to multiply the corporate life that he had created in them. But before Adam and Eve began the multiplication process (had any children) they listened to the evil suggestion of Satan, disobeyed God and sinned. As a consequence, the life that Adam passed on to his children, his posterity, was a life that had already been tainted with sin. Since the life that you and I were born with is an extension of Adam's life, we have a life that stands condemned by God's law, a life that must die. No human being is 100% Good / Holy. Then where is the hope?
The incredible good news of salvation is that God REDEEMED ALL MEN in one man, Jesus Christ, just as Satan ruined the whole human race in one man, Adam. But how did God redeem the entire human race through Jesus Christ? God tells through the Bible that He created the entire universe through Jesus Christ. While creating man He created man with a FREE WILL (Not a ROBOT). The reason being LOVE can only be earned. One cannot force another person to love him / her. (Even God cannot force humans to love Him). Love is a willful choice. Love is never conditional. God who is 100% Good, 100% Holy, 100% Just, 100% Love knew even before the creation of the universe that man in his FREE WILL will disobey God's command and reap the punishment of death. So he planned to send His ONLY SINLESS SON Jesus Christ (who from eternity has been with God as a 100% Good, 100% Holy, 100% Just, 100% Loving BEING) as a substitute to pay the penalty for Adam's sin and thus the entire humanity's sin.
The Bible teaches that Christ died for us, or in our place as our Substitute.
God made Jesus who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf" -- Jesus kept ALL the commandments of God but suffered the penalty, "so that we (sinners) might become the righteousness of God in Jesus" -- we have broken the commandments but still can escape the penalty. THIS IS CALLED GOD's GRACE TO MAN. The FREE GIFT of God is that EVERY undeserving HUMAN BEING (Sinner) who believes that Jesus died in their place, will qualify for Eternal Life in Heaven with GOD.
Note the following FACTS of this GOOD NEWS (Gospel):
1) Jesus DID NOT come (die & resurrect) to make bad people good; but to give dead men Eternal Life.
2) GRACE = God's Righteousness At Christ's Expense.
3) This Gospel (Good News) is NOT a code of Ethics or Morals.
4) This Gospel is NOT a CREED to be accepted.
5) This Gospel is NOT a system of religion to be adhered to.
6) This Gospel is NOT a good advise to follow.
7) This Gospel IS the message concerning the Divine Person Jesus the Christ who is the ONLY WAY to God. A trust in Jesus as the Saviour is The ONLY WAY to God and Eternal Life in Heaven.
