THE ORIGIN OF THE UNIVERSE
Steven Weinburg, The First Three Minutes
"In following this account of the first three minutes, the reader may feel that he can delete a note of scientific overconfidence. He might be right. However, I do not believe that scientific progress is always best advanced by keeping an altogether open mind. It is often necessary to forget one's doubts and to follow the consequences of one's assumptions wherever they may lead..."

"Never the less, there is one great uncertainty that hangs like a dark cloud over the standard model [the Bibg Bang]. Underlying all the calculations described in this chapter is the Cosmological Principle, the assumption that the universe is homogeneous and isotropic. The great thing is not to be free of theoretical prejudices, but to have the right theoretical prejudices. And always, the test of any theortical preconception is where it leads.."

BIG BANG VIOLATES CONSERVATION OF ENERGY
Edward R. Harrison, Cosmology, pp. 276
"Science clings tenaciously to concepts of conservation, the most fundamental of which is the conservation of energy...
The conservation of energy principle serves us well in all sciences except cosmology...To the question where the energy goes in an expanding universe and where it comes from in a collapsing universe the answer is -- nowhere, because in this one case, energy is not conserved.".

ABSOLUTE REFERENCE FRAME
It is a remarkable that we now are justified in talking about an absolute motion, and that we can measure it. The great dream of Michelson and Mortey is realized.
Thet wanted to measure the absolute motion of the earth by measuring the velocity of light in different directions. According to Einstein, however , this velocity is always the same. But the 3 K radiation represents a fixed system of coordinates.
It makes sence to say that an observer is at rest in an absolute sence when the 3 K radiation apperrs to have the same frequencies in all dieections...

ABSOLUTE REFERENCE FRAME
Nature has provided an absolute frame of reference. The deeper significance of this concept is not clear.

  • love the video really good

  • love the video man

  • some really good stuff here

  • hmmm ... I know I said that the videos were an hour each but it was quite a few years ago and they may have been two hours each. ... so, it was either 4 hours of video or 8 hours of video. But, either way, it showed not proof of how it showed that the radiation came from any specific thing of from any specific place. It was hopeful conjecture like everything else that they say shows proof of something. It is a fact that there is this radiation but, it is conjecture as from where it came.

  • Several years ago, I watched a 4 part video that I got from the library. It was all about searching for this radiation and building the satilite they sent up to measure it. After watching for 4 hours I never saw anything that showed how it could be determined what this radiation could come from much less proof that it was from anything specific like the big bang. They made that claim, but no method of how anyone could determine proof positive that it was from the big bang. It can't be done.

  • Mr Gentry's research is not flawed. And no I'm not easily impressed. I find very few things that impress me in this world. Creation rules. Watch his video on the thrown of God.

  • @lastavius You are easily impressed. His logic about instant granite is flawed.

  • Wow! This man is brilliant!

  • Science can only answer what it can test. Origins may be testable but if it challenges their philosophical worldview...they may not like the answer that nature gives them.
