1941 Einnahme von Tchudowo

September 3, 1941. German artillery opens fire on Chudovo - an important transportation hub south of Leningrad. The Soviets throw more and more reserves onto the front line in order to defend the railway. Assault engineers on the attack - bunker and bunker is cleared out. The enemy is thrown back after bitter fighting. The rail line is reached - Chudovo is captured. This is the work of German artillery and aircraft. Entire ammunition trains have been blown up. The rail station is secured.
