  • @philspassion, this is a book trailer shot for very little to just get the feel of the book. Message me on facebook, Clint Glenn Hummel, and I will send you a copy of the novel. I agree I would have liked more money to shoot it, and the editor chose shots that were not accurate for the time, But the book is rooted in history, Thanks, Clint

  • Ah, Arminius was a male model, I did not know.

  • this is the crapiest trailer I have ever seen...so fake, unprofessional, and seriously wrong historically! Just wasted 2 good minutes of my life watching this!

  • Wird Zeit dass es darüber mal nen guten Film gibt. das ist germanische Geschichte. its time to produce a good film about Arminius or the great battle. thats germanic history i prefer Ralf Möller as an protagonist pls without vocals lol... or Schwarzenegger as an old germanic chieftain lol. or hulk hogan...til schweiger as his son lol. oder kevin nash ;) than some actors for the romans + germanic auxiliary. nice fantasy... better: like Band of Brothers a Band of Warriors TV series
  • Thats a mixture of scenes from documentaries and movies , fake.

  • Thank God it's not the next Hollywood movie promised to be "historically accurate". Every time producers promise accuracy the result is even more insulting to everyone who knows history at least a little bit. In this trailer 12-14th century AD medieval castles, Viking swords & helmets are seen side by side in the first century AD. LMFAO!

  • Two Steps From Hell makes such an epic score for this trailer!

  • @claudefrollono1 I believe the Tacitus describes Thumelcus as a gladiator and that he met his demise in the arena. It is written Thusnelda and her son finished their life in Rome. Arminius never met his son at least according to Roman historians. There is not one record of mention of Arminius's life as a child, teenager, even his record as a Cavalry commander is not documented. Only that he was highly decorated. If Arminius was a Roman hostage or grew up in Germania, it will be conjecture.

  • Did his and Thusnelda's son, Thumelcus, really die as a gladiator in his teen years?

Also, you have an awesome comic book by Enrico Marini, "Eagles of Rome" (Les Aigles de Rome) where Arminius' life is described practically from his boy years. There he hangs out with a noble Roman kid, Marcus.

  • @Danorowski You are probably right, Huge stone work came between 100 and 200, example would be the coliseum. Catch me on face book, Clint Glenn Hummel, and email me your address. I will send you a copy of the Arminius novel. Love to get your feedback or someone who knows the period. Thanks!
