It's not over. As of September 1, 2009 about 100 of California's State Parks will be closed. There are 220 State Parks so that makes for almost half of our State Parks. Gov. Schwarzeneggar signed the budget last month to allow this to happen. They have not provided a list of which parks will be closed, but it will be a sad time for California and the rest of the world. These parks are important to California and its tourism.
