Encounter with The Thing

The billboards for many miles foretell of The Thing, an attraction along I-10 in Arizona. In January of 2007, on a trip across this great land, I joined the legion of people who dropped a buck to see what was behind all that signage

Wow! Wasn't the thing amazing! We were in AZ and saw the signs and just couldn't pass up a chance to see probably the worst tourist trap ever! Did you see the flashing jesus in the gift shop? It's hilarious, although my favorite part was the torture scene.

I was so lame that I actually missed the darn "thing" itself, and only learned about it way after. I like the car that Hitler "might" have driven in. Great.
