Equilibrium performed live at The Boardwalk in Sheffield on 9th November 2008. The sound isn't great but if anyone knows how to sort it then feel free to gove me a shout
The guy makes it sound like he's got a whole band behind him (well, percussion and bass). I've heard a lot of tap 'n slap guitarists, like Andy Mac etc, but this guy improvises a lot, and for some reason his technical expertise is over shadowed by the gut wrenching heart behind it all. It all just flows beautifully. He's a legend in my eyes (coming from a guitarist of 23 years). No jealousy, just appreciation.
The sound was perfect ( in my opinion) I could not help but notice that he seemed to play that track with more intencity than he normally does and was wondering if something happened @ that gig to fuel his fire
Having been to uni in sheffield, then having lived in france since 2005, and having discovered candyrat gems since leaving the UK, all I can say is I wish I could have a pint in the boardwalk again.. :(
These guys need to come to france! 5 stars by the way
