The Diane Rehm Show (http://88-5.us/hSygcd): Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius responds to a caller who objects to the part of the health care reform law that requires individuals to purchase health care. The caller argues that she and her family are in good health and don't utilize the health care system enough to warrant having to pay for insurance costs.

the problem is you can't guarantee anyone stable income stream and as people change jobs or become unemployed, then health insurance becomes an expense that should be dropped as needed. For some that can only find temp employment where income is unstable, I wouldn't expect anyone to maintain constant converage. The mandate is very unrealistic if the jobs, income, or living wages aren't out there. So what has been done to correct the price gouging going on in the medical industry to this day?
