Burning Man 2011 Ticket

UPDATE: Yes, this is a hoax! The ticket I'm showing to the camera is in fact genuine, but hey, what happens at 0:41? Notice that you briefly lose sight of the ticket. That's because I dropped it and picked up a fake ticket, one that I printed about 20 minutes earlier. It's not a very good fake, which is why you don't see it clearly for the rest of the video. So let's be clear: no REAL tickets were harmed during the production of this video.

Why did I do this? Well, it has been over nine years since I pranked everyone with the now-classic fake CNN article claiming Burning Man signed a sponsorship deal with MTV, and it was simply time to do something new. And the reason I seem to be picking on DJs is because I'm always picking on DJs. Why would I change now?

There is, however, one bit of truth to all this: It is only a week in the desert. Relax.

Actually it's technically not a gift. David Peterman is one of 50 people who bought lifetime tickets back in 1995 (or something) for $500 each. Back then BM was like $25 or something, and spending $500 was a crapshoot beyond belief.
