  • one more question if you dont mind ? what brand and size tires were you using if you can remember... and if you cant... can you recommend one! thanks.

  • @axlerodder - At that time I was using Pirelli Supercorsa Pro's with a 190 rear on the Triumph 675 (you don't need to use a 190 on a 600 for this track, but my bike was already set up for that size tire, due to racing at the big track.) Talk with the Pirelli rep at track to find the recommended tire pressure. I think I had my rear set at 28psi for this race.

  • damn dudes... your about twice as fast as me...im going to try this track this weekend, looks like you really raised the bar for me...i hope you guys are pro.. i'm just an intermediate! what your avg speed on track? 100?

  • @axlerodder - That was a couple of years ago. Don't think they are still racing there and can't recall average speed. Those lap times are still 3-4 seconds off the lap record.

And yes the 3 of us in the lead were all pro's. The kid on the Duc 748 is now racing AMA, while I have been racing in Europe.

It's a fun little track and I'm sure you'll get things up to speed. Have a blast.

  • Great vid TZ.My wife would love the 2nd tune you used on this vid. Gotta pm you about the Starlane.

  • The song is by Eisbrecher and the song name is Vergissmeinnicht.

PM sent back regarding the Starlane.

  • FAWK! THIS IS ONE FUCKKED UP TRACK!

  • Awesome riding with the right music!!!

  • I love that track but hate the skidpad. Good recovery and some seriously fast laps. I am curious, why don't you take a wider entry to turn 2? Obviously it works for you, but I am wondering if I am doing something wrong by starting from far left instead of in the middle. Other than that my lines are pretty similar to yours.

  • rode the track this last Saturday and love it, its right up my alley!! I could keep up with them on my old 87 600 CBR hurricane 70 hp@ dyno in the turns...top speed on my bike 135 avg. 145 max.. but hey it forces me to learn the technical portions. I had a blast though! racing with the advanced riders this time. i"m definately going back again..and hope to lead this time..but its hard when your racing against liter bikes. thanks for your input..and cool songs, i like them a lot!

  • thank you so much...this is great advice, i now have 34 in the rear, and always try to keep the front about 28...at the 28psi does the rear ever get greasy? or when you put your hand on it , is it real hot to the touch? sorry.. i know i only said one more question. thanks?
