At 5:30 p.m., we begin the holiday season with a stage production of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' performed by the Open Stage Company. The show culminates with the illumination of 100,000 lights on Church Street, a cherished tradition. Official lighting time 6:05 p.m. sharp! Our 50-foot holiday tree is lit with thousands of colored LCD lights in shades of red, gold, tangerine, blue and green. It shines the full length of the Marketplace, a beacon to all lovers of the holiday season. Throughout the holidays, stroll the marketplace during the evening hours and enjoy the lights, soft, classical music and the peace that comes with a fresh snowfall.
