Dude that was freakin sweet ,!!!! very creative, nice double strokes on the bass pedal!!!!! hand technique was right on you had all the buzz rolls , double strokes rolls down solid, who cares where your pinkies are.

very nice! it was very clean but u might want to work on hand technique like make sure u dont let ur pinkeys off the sticks. but other than that really good!

what grip are you using?

I try to use the palm-down grip as much as possible. I was told a long time ago that this grip is best for control.

Interesting...I notice that you take your back fingers off the stick a lot and was wondering if that was part of the grip.
It just seems like you would have less control of the stick as a result of that...

Perhaps I could be even more effective if I keep my back fingers on the stick. I'll have to play with that. Thanks

I recommend practice, practice, and more practice. I use a lot of bass drum in my rolls. They add flavor and make them sound fuller.
