At the end when Ann is with her girlfriends trying to decide on a name, one of them is Jackie Joseph.At the time Jackie was married to actor/dancer Ken Berry.Along with some other ex wives Jackie formed a club,of first wives that the movie "The First Wives Club" was based on.When Andy Griffith left his show that also starred Ron Howard,the lead was taken over by Ken and it became Mayberry RFD.

I Love seeing Ron Howard's father at the restaurant scene,and this same storyline was used in a later episode with her "new" agent-if I am remembering correctly,Ronnie Schell was the agent in the revised episode,through the years different actors played her agent.I so loved this show thank you for posting.

During the first season, Jerry Davis actually produced the series [Danny took over in season two].

"Blue Sky" was of Native American origin, but I believe the network insisted that Don be an "American" for the series (probably because they had another "Indian" character right after the show that first season- Burt Reynolds' "HAWK"), so he became "Hollinger". Danny Arnold became the producer during the first season.

I almost liked these parents better than the ones they actually used. They seemed to add more depth and feeling to the storyline and the mom seemed to have more of a say or identity. But still, I love this show !

How very cool to see this - so different from the actual show. I am glad Donald became Donald Hollinger the Newsview writer instead of Donald Blue Sky the agent! Ann Marie is great pilot and post! (of course) - my fav show of all time, along with Bewitched. Thanks for sharing this video.
