A music video I made of Sarcophagi.

The artwork is from Jeff Jordan, who also painted the cover of Amputechture and The Bedlam in Goliath. (And more)

Artist: The Mars Volta
Song: Cassandra Geminni: E. Sarcophagi
Album: Frances the Mute

  • I have a question : where did TMV found all these pictures ?

  • What do you mean? These paintings are made by Jeff Jordan. (You can google him, he got a website) Not all these paintings are used for mars volta albums.

  • ...where's the rest?

  • This is the whole song. Read the description of the video. On the album, Cassandra Geminni is divided into 5 parts. This is the 5th and last part, also the last track of the album. (54 seconds long on the album.)

  • Why cant this song be longer!?!?! It leaves me begging for more.

  • When I was a child I remember I had weird and abstract dreams and imagination, and they made me feel like on a different life and world. Could you guys belive that Frances The Mute and most of TMV artworks make me feel exactly the same way I felt before?! I feel like having flashbacks.

  • The name of this song is cygnus vusmund cygnus not sarcophagi.....

  • I've been listening to this song for years now. Great video, but it seriously did not need the added special effects. Seriously.... wtH?

  • Esta parte debería de ser mas larga U_U

  • Esta parte debería de ser mar larga U_U

  • Music is Awesome! Paintings are incredible!

  • @Revivelol they pay an artist

  • its also a part of Cygnus....Vismund Cygnus

  • I love the music and the beautiful artwork.

  • A beautiful summation of the album. Starts with a major "in the night" at the beginning of Cygnus (first track) and ends with a minor "in the night" at the end of Cassandra (last track). Simply beautiful.

  • Some of these artworks are scary. Haha... but so interesting.
