Disney's Second Chances

A reoccuring theme in Walt Disney films is forgiveness and second chances.

In order to achieve the "Happy Ending" there is always a conflict in which one person is incredibly dumb and stupid and makes a BIG mistake, realizes he was wrong and sincerly requests forgiveness, and then has to wait for her response...




I know I can't sing... but its the meaning behind it that matters

After all that trouble,

Second chances weren't easy,

When Flynn stole repunzels crown (tangled)

For when tiana got tricked, (Princess and the frog)
For when Beast was a jerk and made belle frown (beauty and the beast)

For when Aladdin lied about being rich (Aladdin- being Prince Ali)
And Cinderella did too (Cinderella -- pretending she was rich)
Or when when mike wizowski --
Almost forgot boo! (monsters inc)

John Smith was gonna to kill savages, (Pocahontas)
Jack ruined Christmas Day, (nightmare before Christmas)
Lilo's sister almost got poor stitch,
Taken away! (lilo and stitch)

Koda for learning to be a brother (brother bear)
Pinocchio lied and got drunk (pinnocchio)
And for Marlin being too harsh. (finding nemo)
And kuzco's attitude stunk (emperor's new groove)


They had to decide, if the feelings rised above,
Would they decide, to give a 2nd chance to love ?
