I have learned that Flaxseed (Linseed) is a powerful super food and rather than lecture you please look up on the net. I will attach a link to one site i have read that describes flaxseed as a powerful nutrient payload on the planet! So why not have a bit more in your diet.
The website with the most detailed nutrition for flaxseed is:
http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=foodspice&dbid=81
They have a chart that shows % daily intake using 19.38g flaxseed contains:
Omega 3 fatty Acids
Manganese
fibre
Magnesium
folate
copper
phosphorous
Vit b6
I already have it with blueberries and yogurt at 10am every day at work but this morning i added 12g to my protein shake. Tasty.
update... currently looking into omega 3 ala and have contacted A&NZ Reference size (Department of Health) re their published RDA. Seems their study is old compared to what people are doing today. Uncle Tobys Omega 3 cereal provides 200mg My flaxseed ground provides 2-3g minimum and US looks like they are heading for 5g Omega 3 AlA (plant based)
From Wiki:
Suggested amounts vary between 1.6 g/kg and 1.8 g/kg
They also say more if you work out and a suggested max is 2.5g/kg
My current protein shake has 34g per serv and i add flaxseed, sunflower kernels, sesame seed which is another 7g and more from the milk.
75kg would be approx 41g but you then have to factor in exercise and what energy you're burning and calories from Carbs/Protein/Fat.
Hope this helps.
Has this helped you in your everyday life.. I really want to help my memory..

@RockyBalboa211 yes, i have been taking fish oil since 2005 approx and then i started using flaxseed in my protein diet in addition to my fish oil capsules as i don't eat fish. I also now add ground sunflower kernels to my protein shake and Psyllium Husk. during marathon running (more weekends) i add ground sesame seed. table spoon of each. :-)

cool. i read online that you shouldn't have any more than 2 table spoons per day. I also grind on fine in my grinder.

it adds texture to the drink, not really adding flavour but it does fill me up and keep me going until meal times. Any runner will know... you do 23k odd one protein shake on its own doesn't cut it but adding flaxseed you get fibre which does fill you up with the extra omeag 3. hope that helps.
