I'm also certain that "wishing" for the tornado to form was related to being caught up in the moment of the massive force of nature. I've been in a few, used to have recurring nightmares about them and would probably still have the same sense of excitement these guys do. God Bless them for calling it in.
@LarryLane07 I guess you missed the part about how they immediately called the tornado in to the Weather Service as soon as it touched down. It's because of chasers that so many lives ARE saved. So don't go telling people when and how to get excited just because you wouldn't be. Tornadoes give some people a real passion to understand them and protect people better. You'll thank people like this one day when you get saved directly because a chaser induced a tornado warning with his/her report.
@LarryLane07 Woah just take it easy man. Tornadoes is part of nature, you can't stop them. They wanted one because they are amazing to see. Yes they do cause damage and kill people but more then half of the people killed don't take the right safety measures.
I am a little disturbed at you eagerness for the tornado to form. Tornadoes kill people and animals. They are not something you WANT to happen. I heard one of you say "come on" hoping it would form. You were all just giddy. That's not right. Tornadoes are devastating, and you should not wish it to happen to anyone.
