He would be fine if that ball hit him without a mask. Don't be such a pussy and play the sport like a man. I bet the rest of the team makes fun of him for it. I never used a facemask before and i was fine. I play Midget AAA baseball btw now. If a balls coming at my face I just turn my head. Not very hard to do.It also helps you see the ball better without one and helps you run faster. How do you slide head first with a cage on acting as a break? If they made us wear cages I would quit baseball.
