@soup460 Reenactmen is fun m8! I do it myself, but no Rev War over here. We are medieval housecarls. On the old Royal Palace in Bergen. Sword and axes and stuff. Its almost like martial arts :)

@pipenissen heh heh heh...as a Rev War reenactor on the US side...that makes me smile :-)

@Haskeers1 that is the most ignorant comment I have ever heard .

Aha bang on! Huzzah!

@SemiAuto777 Also, Grenadiers would throw grenades...

Bear in mind the muskets were only accurate up to around 60 meters, maybe 100 with rifling. It's difficult to reload a muzzle loader from prone, and the smoke would give your postition away anyway if you were hiding. also, with one shot at a time and a ~30 second reload time, their muskets weren't terribly good for covering fire or fire and manuever either.
3 people were destroyed by British Grenadiers.

Stand in a line. March forward. Through explosions and fire. Stand upright, stiff upper lip. Fire your musket. Take a bullet in the chest. Northing to worry about. Reload. Fire again. No more blood in the body to keep standing upright. Fall dead. - The life of a British Grenadier.
