mamemo stages spectacular production for Bahrain's biggest sports celebration

To celebrate the sporting achievements of the Kingdom of Bahrain, mamemo productions created a spectacular show last 21st of April 2010 at the iconic National Charter Monument combining the latest standards in live performances combined with real time leading edge 3D animation, and the newest flame cannon and pyro-technology.
The sports recognition event was attended by 2000 guests and held under the patronage and with the presence of by The Crown Prince His Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Directly appointed by the General Organization for Youth and Sports (GOYS) to manage the event, mamemo productions Managing & Creative Director Sam Katiela conceptualized and designed a lavish production that was themed into the "History of Sports in Bahrain", "10 Years of Sporting Achievements in Bahrain", and the "Symphony of Light and Fire".
The first feature began with a specially programmed interactive sequence that fused leading edge 3D animation, powerful images and key messages with six graceful aerial performers who transformed the whole semicircular façade of the monument into a virtual field of the country's top sports.
The powerful finale of the evening, the "Symphony of Light and Fire" lit he whole monument in a precise sequence of flames from 35 cannons choreographed to the beat of drummers onstage. With each emotional crescendo, the precise choreography followed as more than 3600 pyros created patterns on the 65m high spire, the monument building, and the surrounding sky, filling the whole venue with breathtaking sight and sound.
