@Darkcarnival67 It happened to me too.. It seems to have happened to may people, even others that have gotten it by buying it... There are some helpful websites that deal with this "missing component"

@mechds If you replace iPhoto, it will not delete your photo library. The application iPhoto has nothing to do with your pictures, except organize them :)
