8 Year Old National Anthem audition for Phoenix Suns and performance

8 Year Old Payton Stanley wows the judges at the 2006 Phoenix Suns National Anthem audition. She went on the be the youngest performer that year and has sung the Anthem every year after. She also sings for the Phoenix Mercury, Phoenix Coyotes and Arizona Diamondbacks.

I love to sing and I have never been shy about it. I don't really get nervous but sometimes the wait before you sing is long and there is usually lots of noise, music, anouncements and you can hear the crowd. I try to stay in a zone and sometimes listen to a recording of myself singing the Anthem so I get that first note right. It really is awsome and the crowds are so great to me.
