The Creature Craft Rescue Craft (TM) has been designed to prevent Rescue Personnel from becoming victims. The 20.5 inch inflatable is comprised of eight chambers and personnel is secured with 4 inch velcro thighstraps. When outfitted with an oreframe, it provides easy access in rescue situations. In terms of rescue craft for challenging water, Creature Craft has a raft that can go over waterfalls and maintain its stability. The video shows dam surfing, Lowhead and Roller dam descents and a dam rescue.

Cant' make a real one what? A real "un-flippable" raft? True. A CC won't "flip" but with those retarded long paddles and total inability to maneuver, a real rescue in a low head dam situation is unlikely. Instead of flipping, CC just sort of fall over on their side while the poor bastard on the low side gets chundered over and over while the guy on the high side flails around and tries to right the craft. Go hang out at Toilet Bowl in Gore this August and watch the CC get destroyed.
Indeed design flaw. It's a toss up between watching the poor dude on the low side scrape his face off in Gore rapid or watching one of the CC wrap around Gilligan's in Gore. It was a great idea that probably should have died after the second prototype. Fortunately for the rest of us we get to watch CC get chundered over and over again while demonstrating their "unflippability".
I'm all for improving means of rescue on the river, but come on. those dams are not very intense, and your guy in the red boat isn't even wearing a life jacket. this looks like the next step up from hillbilly inner tubing. where's your 6 pack?
I think being thrown around in rapids is more likely to aggravate an injury then being rescued don't you? Drowning would be the better option for sure.
