He had an injured shoulder weeks before the fight which required surgery. Furthermore, he is flat broke - he couldn't even afford a professional training camp. His training team has changed around so we'll see what's what next fight.

Its a shame that Tua isn't working hard right now, he'd give Wlad problems if he wanted to, but ultimately i think both brothers would outbox him over 12 rounds.

@GilbertSyndrome Yes, there were other hard punchers between 1980s and 2010s, but David Tua is a true King of knock out.

I don't think he's very risky anymore, his performance against Barrett wasn't so good, Barrett hasn't looked good in a while either.

swinging punches....was it for the fans..This guys an idiot. swinging but knockout power...Tua was careful....sized him up then took him out.... Smart n always in control.....R

I think he deserves it as well. His left hook is one of the best in history and he has a heart like a lion.

I'd never heard Tua interviewed. Very contained, thoughtful and articulate. Sounds like a great guy. Can't say I liked the interviewer.
