Ich wünsche, dass ich mehr davon verstehen könnte, aber mir fehlen leider das Hebräische und das Polnische, um die Bedeutung völig davon zu begreifen. Und das Lied ist leider auch mir zu langsam.

very touching , i had my wife translate this for me ,my wife speak yidish ,her family sufferd during the war most died there ,i am yemmeni jew , only when you become close to someone who been through the horrors you feel the real pain. not to say that all jew dont share that pain , but it realy hurts you when your love one hurts.

And that's true love.

Sensitively sung beautiful sad song of an unloved orphan speaking longingly to a tombstone of his mother. "Stone, stone, you were my mother once, with a heart and a soul. By God's punishment I never got to know you..." Thanks J.

Another lovely example of that fructiferous coexistence of cultures!

To tell you the truth I am now discovering things on my shelves and in my drawers (kitchen cupboard for instance...) that I did not know I had.
Thank you for listenning, Messar's renditions and recordings are rarities and hardly anybody knows him today.
